Today we live in very interesting times. The distractions and stresses of everyday life abound and show no signs of relenting in any way. Some of you who are visiting this website are merely curious about the school and what it is that we do here at the Wujido Institute. Others have found some benefit from material that we publish from time to time. Still others are my beloved students and friends for whom all of this exists. It doesn't matter for what reason you are here. We welcome and invite you to visit from time to time. We sincerely hope that in some small way we can bring benefit to you, that you can find in us a refuge and a home of sorts, and that we can make this the beginning of an abiding and noteworthy friendship over time. It is our goal to make improvements and additions to this site on a continual basis. Currently we have a few articles but we plan to create an extensive archive of many articles from our very popular in-house newsletter called Wujido News, which although published only in-house with a small number of issues every month, found its way all over the country based on responses we received from interested parties. Most of the articles will be written by myself and reflect my personal teaching and views, but we will also include articles from students who are accomplished and respected in their related fields of science, Chi Gong, diet, self-defense, ethics and so forth. From time to time we will also feature articles of other Grandmasters who generously agree to put pen to paper and honor us with their insights. I hope you will enjoy our website and honor us with your company, and may your life be in every way more successful the more you learn and grow. I would urge you to love life and do not do what you hate. The yoga of the three times says: "The past no longer exists, the future has not arrived, and the present is unfixable." What that means in terms of action is that in the one case there is nothing to be done except to leave behind any mistakes and pay our debts. In the other case there is an infinite possibility that is defined only by the limitations we place upon ourselves. We experience life only in the now. Can a person truly experience life if the mind is in the past or on the future? What do you think? |
