 - Show proper respect for all senior ranks.
- No uncontrolled talk in the studio area.
- Bowing as a ritual sign of respect entering and leaving, starting and ending, approaching and leaving.
- Entering and leaving: studio or campus.
- Beginning and ending martial arts activities; drill, sparring, class.
- As an acknowledgment of a MASTER GRADE (4th degree black belt or above)
- Stand at attention when a Master Grade (4th degree black belt or above) enters a room.
- No horseplay.
- Observe good hygiene.
- Keep fingernails and toenails cut short.
- Do not wear jewelry in class.
- Do not attend class sick with cold or flu.
- Work hard but avoid dangerous overexertion.
- Show respect for the training hall; keep it clean.
- Address instructors as Sir or their Title. (Assistant Instructor, Instructor, professor, etc.)
- Be in proper uniform in classroom area.
- Keep emotions under control.
- Never use excessive force in sparring and drills.
- Observe restraint and control techniques and do not injure a fellow student
- No unauthorized sparring or challenges.
- All questions should be respectful and appropriate.
- Observe the chain of command (rank system).
