Defense Against Four Attackers with Holds on Arms and Legs

Fig. 1 Harkins Shifu allows himself to be swarmed and four men taking positions of making holds on both arms and both legs simultaneously

Fig. 2 Shifu responds by relaxing as if becoming liquid or water consistency turning to his left and dissolving the hold on his right arm.

Fig. 3 Once the man on his right is extended Shifu puts power back into his arm and folds it toward his left and away from his attacker, at the same time putting torque into his hips and legs.

Fig 4. With sudden explosion of hips, legs, and elbows Shifu executes short crane wing elbowing style on pressure point of attackers jaw using very controlled strike to produce slight knockout (for safety of demonstration).

Fig. 5 The knockout forces attacker on the right to release his grip and Shifu in continuous fashion and using the reeling silk skills of snake and iron palm circles his body using snake body technique generating additional power.

Fig 6. Shifu Harkins delivers Iron palm strike to Ming Men acupuncture point at the place of the spine to cause paralysis and stunning pain and loss of ability to use legs and produce disorientation only by using controlled light power (for safety of demonstration).

Fig. 7 Continuing using snake body technique Harkins Shifu turning now to his right side and lengthening his body using Shang-Jing, Xia-Jing, and Zuan-Jing internal power in combination.

Fig. 8 Harkins Shifu drops the whipping Snake’s tail on the Knockout point of attacker holding his left leg vigorously and lightly touches the area of the Jade Pillow located at the occipital protuberance lightly stunning attacker (for safety of demonstration).

Fig. 9 Being free to move Shifu steps forward and captures paralysis points on both sides of instructor Moss’s mandible and causes paralysis and the attackers arms drop to the side and back and chest lifts and chin drops and the body want to collapse, but Shifu holds him up for a moment.

Fig. 10 Harkins Shifu then pushes attacker backward, the attacker unable to correct his position and falls harmlessly backward.

Fig. 11 Shifu takes a moment to observe the affect of techniques.

Students Speak

"Overcoming others is not the true strength. Overcoming yourself is the true strength. For your greatest friend and your greatest enemy are one and the same. Therefore conquering Self is more valuable than 10,000 victories over myriads of enemies."
